Gardener
There was this gardener who had a heart of darkness. This heart, perhaps because of a former injury or the loneliness within it, grew cold and dark. The gardener began to project his pain and dissatisfaction onto the flowers, and instead of simply tending them, he treated these beautiful beings in a twisted way.
The Heart of Darkness makes the gardener cruel and heartless. He no longer waters gently but pours hard as if to drown the flowers in his anger. He no longer prunes patiently but cuts ruthlessly as if to double the pain of the flower. He no longer admires the beauty of the flowers but laughs at their tenderness and helplessness.
The Heart of Darkness also made the gardener lonely and isolated. He drifted away from others, unwilling to share his inner world. He immersed himself in his own world and the company of flowers but could not feel their warmth and love. He longed to be understood but was afraid of being hurt and chose silence and escape.
