Zhenyuanzi has extraordinary strength and holds ginseng fruit. Why can he only be an earthly immortal?
Zhenyuanzi is a rare free man in the Journey to the West. He holds ginseng fruit in his hand. He doesn't need to work for the Queen Mother of the West. The only drawback is that he is an earthly immortal and can't go further.
Some people say that Zhenyuanzi only knows to live by ginseng fruit. He is an embroidered pillow and has no ability.
If so, Zhenyuanzi is wronged because his strength must be recognized. Perhaps the ginseng fruit in Wuzhuang Guan has become an "obstacle" to his luminescence and fever, quickly covering up Zhenyuanzi's other advantages.
Zhenyuanzi's own ability is strong. Otherwise, how can three Purity be close friends with him? Zhenyuanzi used a move to catch up with the Tang Monk and disciples. This is a space technique similar to the Buddha in the palm of Tathagata.
After Tang Monk, Wukong, Bajie, and Sha Monk were sucked into his sleeves, even Bajie couldn't escape with a nine tooth rake. He could only let Zhenyuanzi bring them back to the courtyard for punishment. When it comes to magic, Zhenyuanzi can easily defend Wuzhuang Guan.
Therefore, Zhenyuanzi's inability to become a heavenly immortal has nothing to do with his strength. Instead, a pair of couplets outside Wuzhuang Guan tell the truth.
As soon as Sun Wukong came to Wuzhuang Guan, he saw a couple of couplets saying: Immortal house, live the same life as heaven. Seeing this, Monkey King smiled unkindly. Zhenyuanzi was just the master of the Wuzhuang Guan, but he wanted to live as long as heaven and earth do. He tried to compete with the Jade Emperor.
After Tang Monk went to Wuzhuang Guan, they noticed that the Jade Emperor and the Tathagata were not enshrined in Zhenyuanzi's home.
The reason why Zhenyuanzi has been on earth is straightforward. His ambition is too big. The Jade Emperor dared not take this risk to contain Zhenyuanzi in the heaven court. Therefore, Zhenyuanzi should live as the ancestor of earthly immortals.
