Sky Goodman

Sky Goodman is an artist, poet, and educator living in Chicago whose work revolves around the use of emergent and obsolete technology. By merging tech from different eras, Sky creates a visual language that speaks to the alchemic nature of joining hardware and software. His practice draws inspiration from landscape painters, The Romantics, Science Fiction literature, Glitch Art, and video games. He is also deeply interested in digital fashion and works with VR sculpting and AI to create sneaker concepts. Sky’s formal education is in literature with a focus on poetry. Sky often merges his poetry with digital and analog landscapes to create lush and expansive environments.
