The Philosopher’s Lapse of Time

Sky Goodman gives us a demonstration of real alchemy by weaving in and out of file formats. Of course, the result is much more than just a difference in file formats.

The third and final work in the Philosopher’s Landscape Trio. Exploring what happens to a scene when moving through different file formats. The same scene that started as an mp4 became a GLB and is now a GIF. AI was also used to further expand the original scene. Now we go deeper. The scape undergoes transfiguration through the alchemic principles of remix and exporting.
